T-LABS MATERA

Target audience: Tourism operator and cultural creative industries
Description: Presented by Simona Polli, a an expert in the tourism sector with solid experience in co-creation processes and a wide knowledge of the Transformative Travel trends. The purpose of this training is to improve the skills of local communities to encourage a new tourism model, transformative tourism, helping them to conceive and generate activities and experiences. The objective is to gather public and private actors linked to tourism, as well as also representatives of the creative and cultural field who are interested in undertaking looking synergies between both sectors. Training providers, press and media or representatives of other related sectors who wish to explore ways of collaboration with the tourism industries and the generation of transformative trips. The content of this TLab focuses on the definition of design, development, management, marketing and promotion of transformative travel experiences. It will be divided between the theoretical part and the part of interaction, in which participants can collaborate to outline an innovative product.

Conference ECoC Matera

Description: The ECoC-SME project recognizes the European Capital of Culture (ECoC) programme as a yet under-utilised opportunity for cities and regions to develop existing and prospective local small- and medium enterprises. During this event, we will focus about the role of ECoC in local development and also Creative Industries, Tourism, Legacy by thematic table.

T-LABS Meeting Matera

Description: The partners of Cultour is Capital gather at Matera (Italy) in the second meeting of this European project, funded by the COSME Program of the European Commission. The so far involvement of present and future European Capitals of Culture will be one of the central issues of the meeting, in which the partners will also evaluate the supports received from third parties as stakeholders.

Meeting Barcelona

Descriptión: The partners of Culture is Capital gather at Barcelona (Spain) in the kick of meeting of this European project, funded by the COSME Program of the European Commission to bring transformative tourism together with the European Capitals of Culture. Main guidelines of action will be discussed to establish the goals of the project in its first months.
